VBSR Board to Host Celebratory Networking Get-Together

- Members and Friends Invited to Toast 25 Years of Social Responsibility -

Burlington, VT – As Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility (VBSR) continues to celebrate 25 Years of Changemaking in Action, the VBSR Board of Directors has teamed up to host a very special Networking Get-Together. Current and past VBSR members, friends of the organization, and policy makers are encouraged to join the VBSR staff and board for the free event, taking place from 5:30 – 8:00 PM on June 25th at Lareau Farm, home of American Flatbread in Waitsfield.

“We are so excited about this special networking event and grateful to our board for stepping up to support this celebration,” said VBSR Communication and Membership Manager, Russ Elek. “People are looking forward to reconnecting around the notion of socially responsible business practices, meeting new members and friends, and celebrating the impact the organization has made over the last 25 years.” Elek also noted that the staff is gearing up to welcome 150 guests for evening.

The event will feature an assortment of American Flatbread, dessert, a cash bar, and a ten-minute educational program focused on VBSR’s history and successes of the past 25 years. Attendees will also be encouraged to share their thoughts on the future of the organization and participate in a toast to the next 25 years.

The Networking Get-Together is free to attend and open to anyone interested in corporate social responsibility or networking with business professionals who are working to implement sustainable business practices into their daily operations.
