The United Way of Windham County invites all self-employed individuals in Windham County to participate in a discussion of the Tax Implications of Self Employment, presented by Grant Peterson, Senior Stakeholder Relationship Tax Consultant, with the Internal Revenue Service in Burlington, VT.
This FREE session will cover the following topics:

• Types of self-employed entities
• The Self-Employment Tax
• Basic Recordkeeping
• Which expenses are deductible?
• Travel expenses
• When to depreciate
• How can the Earned Income Credit help?
