Friday, February 22 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday, February 23 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Strolling of the Heifers presents Love Local — two days of food, music, art, and celebration of all things local.
On Friday & Saturday February 22 & 23 the River Garden (157 Main Street, Brattleboro, VT) will become an inviting open marketplace where folks can sample the sweet and savory specialty foods of local farmers and food producers and view the work of local artists and artisans.
If you find an item that warms your heart – or your palate – vendors will also have their products for sale. Artisans will be showcasing handmade wares and specialty food to local customers; each of which will represent the spirit of the regional community. Love Local will also give neighbours the opportunity to discover the wealth of creativity and craftsmanship in their own backyards.
“Come show these amazing local artisans how much you Love Local!” said Orly Munzing, Executive Director of Strolling of the Heifers, “It’s the perfect time of year to get out of the house, meet some friends and shop for locally-made products inside the warm and sunny River Garden.”
Come to Love Local to be inspired and delighted by items that are crafted and curated by creative entrepreneurs. An wonderful opportunity to learn and find incredible items from local sellers.
The Gallery at the Garden will be open as well, with an exhibit by the Brattleboro Historical Society.
