FRIENDS OF NORTHERN LAKE CHAMPLAIN RUN AGAIN!
Saint Albans – Friends of Northern Lake Champlain
(FNLC) pleased to announce a family-focused run event for all ages on October
13, 2019, at Georgia Beach. The Run for the Lake is an annual fundraiser for
FNLC to educate and bring awareness to lake pollution, lake clean-up efforts,
and steps the typical landowner can take the minimize their impact.
Schedule of events:
Check-in and registration begins at 7:30 am.
8:30 am starts the kids fun run
9:00 am the timed-race begins
Fruit and bagels will be provided at the end of the event for runners to
refuel. Childcare is provided during the event by Georgia’s Next Generation
daycare.
Local running celebrity, Elle Purrier, has a special message to participants
to kick off our event, and she’ll share her special connection to rural
Vermont, farming, and Lake Champlain.
Cost:
Kids Run (Up to age 10)– Free
Student Rate – $20
All Others – $40
Group Registration Rate: We invite groups of 10 or more to register at a

Registration Deadline: Online registration closes on October 6th at Midnight.
Runner registration will be available beginning at 7:30 am on October 13th.

Onsite face painting and balloon animals provided by the St. Albans
Recreation Department
Medals for Kid’s Relay participants
Time raced for adults (BFA’s Nordic Team will time runners)
Automatic raffle entry for a chance to win wonderful prizes from
local VT businesses!
