Own Your Own Power
Join Bill Laberge, President of Grassroots Solar, on Saturday morning, March
11, at 10:00AM and learn how to generate your own power during the day and
store for later use (think: solar power at night!). Battery storage brings a
whole new element to a solar system. You can use it as a back up during power
outages or for “self-consumption,” where you use it as you need it day or
night.
This free, hour-long workshop will take place at the Grassroots Solar barn,
5145 Route 30, Dorset, VT. Bill will give an overview to familiarize people
with how solar power works, and will explain how you can own solar for the
cost of your monthly electric bill. Light refreshments will be served. For
