Open House June 7 for New Lyndon State College Masters Programs in Mental Health Counseling Program

LYNDONVILLE, VERMONT — Lyndon State College will host an open house June 7 for prospective students and others to learn about its new master’s programs in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

The event will be 5-6:30 p.m. in the Burke Mountain Room (Room 400) at Samuel Read Hall Library & Academic Center. Applied Psychology and Human Services department faculty and admissions representatives will be available to answer questions.

Lyndon’s 60-credit Master of Science program is distinctive partly because it offers two options: a traditional two-year format for students with an undergraduate degree and an accelerated five-year format. The five-year option is for first-year and early-transfer students in Lyndon’s Psychology and Human Services program.

Students in both tracks will gain hands-on experience to prepare for their career through hundreds of hours of fieldwork.
