Oktoberfest Vermont presented by Jay Peak will be held at Waterfront Park on the shores of Lake Champlain, September 24 - 27.
This weekend-long festival includes local food, authentic Oompah music, games and contests, local business sponsors, locally made goods, and of course, BEER!
The weekend kicks off on Thursday, September 24, with a "Meet Your Maker" VIP Benefit Dinner sponsored by Dealer.com and BTVFoodie. All proceeds benefit Fork in the Road,part of the Burlington School Food Project—and includes a four-course, four-beer collaboration featuring food from Hen of the Wood, Bluebird Barbecue, and Juniper at Hotel Vermont; and beers from The Alchemist, Queen City, VonTrapp, and Zero Gravity breweries. On Friday, September 25, and Saturday, September 26, there will be a Bavarian-themed "Made in Vermont" Oktoberfest with live music, 41 brewers, cideries, and wineries—including five historic German Oktoberfest and 19 local Vermont breweries, German-inspired food, lederhosen costume contests, and games including stein-lifting, Plinko, ring toss, and Cornhole. Tickets are $35. This is a 21+ event;
On Sunday, September 27, we bring you "Made in Vermont Harvest Day” Sponsored by the Burlington Free Press to benefit the Burlington School Food Project. Enjoy everything our great state has to offer during its prettiest time of year! This free event is for all-ages, and includes:
