NEK 44th Annual Citizen of the Year Award nominations due by April 20

NOMINATE A CANDIDATE FOR THE NORTHEAST KINGDOM CITIZEN OF THE YEAR AWARD

DEADLINE: APRIL 20, 2015

The Northeast Kingdom Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the 44th Annual Citizen of the Year Award. Each year the Chamber recognizes a Citizen of the Year recipient, honoring business people in our region who have done good deeds in their community and region.

Candidates should:

• Be an area resident & active business person.
• Have extensive local/regional business experience.
• Have extensive community involvement over time and in a variety of organizations beyond their normal occupation. 

To nominate a deserving candidate, provide a completed nomination form and a detailed letter listing the person's biography and good deeds in the region.

 The deadline for submissions is April 20. The award recipient will be honored at the Northeast Kingdom Chamber Annual Meeting on May 21 at Lyndon State College.
