Make-A-Wish Vermont Ribbon Cutting Ceremony & Open House at new Location in
Burlington’s Historic Maltex Building
On Saturday, November 7th at 5p.m., the CEO of Bond Auto Parts, Scott Bond
will participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate Make-A-Wish
Vermont’s new home in the historic Maltex Building. For over a decade, via
the BOND GIVES BACK program, Bond Auto Parts and their employees have donated
hundreds of thousands of dollars to sponsor wishes for Vermont’s children
facing life-threatening illnesses.
WHO: James Hathaway, President & CEO of Make-A-Wish Vermont, Scott Bond,
President & CEO of Bond Auto Parts, Wish Kids, and supporters of Make-A-Wish
Vermont.
WHAT: Ribbon cutting ceremony and open house event. The open house will
feature opening remarks from James Hathaway, CEO of Make-A-Wish Vermont, Wish
Stories, and a performance from one of Make-A-Wish Vermont’s wish kids.

WHEN: Ribbon cutting ceremony to take place at 5p.m., followed by the open
house from 6p.m. to 9p.m.

a magical space that will serve as the heart of the Make-A-Wish Vermont
community. With beanbag furniture, vintage video games, natural wood floors
and big windows letting in lots of sun, the new home of Make-A-Wish Vermont
is a fun, inspiring location for children and families facing the most
difficult of challenges.
Make-A-Wish Vermont
Make-A-Wish Vermont grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical
conditions. A wish is often the turning point in a child’s recovery. Since
1989 Make-A-Wish Vermont has granted over 725 wishes.
