LEDC presents workshop on Online Business Done Right The First Time

In today’s marketing world almost nothing has the potential to affect your business more positively or negatively than website construction and the targeted online marketing strategies used by you and your business.

Establishing a robust online presence for your small business is essential to a successful future.  Today’s customers expect to find your business quickly and easily when they look online.  And if they don’t, there are plenty of other options available to take your place!  But with various website building tools and options, social media websites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and more, it can be a challenge to determine where to focus your energy.  That, coupled with time and budgeting constraints makes it easy to make a wrong turn when it comes to decisions regarding your overall online business strategy.

This workshop will help you learn the options, costs and risks associated with various digital platforms and website building strategies, as well as what online marketing tools to consider once your online presence has been established.   Covered topics include website building, social media, paid online marketing, analytics and more.

The workshop presenter, Patrick Ripley, is the digital media specialist for the Vermont Small Business Development Center.  Patrick has more than 15 years of experience working with digital media, has worked for the Hearst Television stations and has written, edited and managed thousand of pieces or online content while managing the development, creation and design of multiple websites and social media campaigns..

The workshop will take place on June 15th from 9 am to noon in the Community Room at Green Mountain Technology and Career Center in Hyde Park.  The cost to attend is $49 and pre-registration is required.  Please visit www.vtsbdc.org and click on TRAINING to register and pre-pay on line or email or call Vicki Blanchard at [email protected] , 802-728-9101.  For more information call John Mandeville at 888-5640.
