LAUNCH event to celebrate opening of new local business MA & PEMBUM

Essex, VT- A launch party is scheduled to celebrate the opening of Ma &
Pembum, a unique line of jewelry and leather accessories, created from
upcycled materials. Fifty percent of all proceeds of the company’s sales
are donated to END IT, an organization dedicated to ending human slavery of

Ma & Pembum founder Phebe Mott began the business in December of 2013, and
creates the work largely from antiques and previously-owned leather garments.
“I’ve always loved rescuing discarded items and using them in new,
unexpected ways. Now I can do what I love while helping, though in a small
way, put an end to human trafficking.”
The launch party of Ma & Pembum will be held on Saturday, May 3 from 4:00 pm
– 6:00 pm in Essex Junction, VT.
