Community invited to “boogie and bid” to benefit affordable housing
Morrisville, VT, March 27 2019. Lamoille Housing Partnership (LHP) and The
Rusty Nail are teaming up to host the Lamoille Housing Partnership Benefit, a
fundraiser to benefit LHP’s mission-driven affordable housing work in
Lamoille County and Hardwick. The Lamoille Housing Partnership Benefit
features a silent auction, food and drinks, and live music from Last Kid
Picked. The public is invited to “boogie and bid,” as 100% of ticket sale
and silent auction proceeds support LHP’s affordable housing development in
Lamoille region communities.
“The Rusty Nail & Tres Amigos couldn't be more excited to help support a
great organization like Lamoille Housing Partnership,” says The Rusty Nail
& Tres Amigos co-owner, Mark Frier. As an employer of more than 100 people in
the greater Stowe area, Frier considers “understanding the real housing
needs of the local workforce” important. He adds, “Lamoille Housing
Partnership is an incredible resource that we as a community need to continue
to rally around, as they work to address the real challenges our communities
face when it comes to housing.”
“LHP is delighted to partner with The Rusty Nail & Tres Amigos, and
appreciative of the Benefit sponsors’ generous support!” says LHP Public
Relations Manager, Kerrie Lohr. “Affordable housing is a key piece to
thriving, vibrant communities – the local need for affordable homes and
apartments exceeds availability, and LHP continues working to develop more
affordable housing to meet the increasing need in our communities,” says
Lohr. Lamoille Housing Partnership is a 501c3 nonprofit, and relies on
raising funds critical to achieving the organization’s mission. Lohr adds,
“the impact of the Benefit will support LHP’s mission, directly enabling
our organization to continue it’s 28 year legacy of supporting our
communities’ low and moderate income families, local workforce, older and
disabled Vermonters, veterans and the formerly homeless with safe, decent,
affordable homes and apartments.”
The Lamoille Housing Partnership Benefit begins with dinner, drinks and a
silent auction. A taco bar courtesy of Tres Amigos will serve diners a
variety of the restaurant’s signature tacos. The Alchemist, a dedicated
community partner of LHP, is pouring their world famous and locally cherished
beer. Prizes up for grabs in the silent auction include spa treatments,
restaurant gift certificates, artwork from local artists, ski passes, local
getaways and more. Following dinner and the silent auction, attendees will be
treated to live music from New England rock band, Last Kid Picked.
The Lamoille Housing Partnership Benefit happens Saturday April 13th, from
7pm – 12pm at The Rusty Nail. Tickets are $25, and include taco bar, one
beer, and admission to the Last Kid Picked concert. 100 tickets available.
Tickets can be purchased in advance online at http://bit.ly/LHPbenefit2019 or
at the door. 100% of ticket sale and silent auction proceeds benefit Lamoille
Housing Partnership. Concert is 21+. The Lamoille Housing Partnership
Benefit is generously sponsored by The Rusty Nail, Tres Amigos, The
Alchemist, Reinhart Food Service Burlington, and Salon Ruelle.
The Lamoille Housing Partnership develops, rehabilitates, and maintains safe,
