Hubbardton Forge Barn Sale and Forging Demonstrations, Columbus Day Weekend
CASTLETON, VT, September 22, 2014... In celebration of their 40th anniversary, Hubbardton Forge Lighting is hosting a Barn Sale and Forging Demonstration event on October 11 and 12, 2014. The event will be held at their recently purchased property on Route 4A West, Castleton, VT.
Hand-forged lighting and accessories—discontinued, returned, and one-of-a-kind Hubbardton Forge lamps, pendants, chandeliers, sconces, lampshades and more—are 50% off advertised price during the weekend sale in the barn. Quantities are limited.
Throughout the weekend, watch as Vermont craftspeople work with red-hot steel in our forge demo area, bending and shaping the metal into Hubbardton Forge’s distinctive lighting designs using traditional blacksmithing tools and techniques. Along with the forging demonstrations, enjoy special children’s activities and refreshments during the barn sale event. Admission is free.
The Barn Sale and Forging Demonstration Event will be held at 776 Route 4A West, Castleton, VT, located ¼ mile from the Hubbardton Forge factory. Sale hours are Saturday, October 11, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm and Sunday, October 12, 9:00 am-2:00 pm. All sales are final.
