“Hockey Fights MS” tournament returns to Burlington, raising funds for Multiple Sclerosis treatment & research

What: More than 800 hockey players from Vermont, Canada and around the United States will take part in the 10th Annual “Hockey Fights MS” tournament to benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Fund at the UVM Medical Center.

When: July 21-23, 2017

Friday, July 21 – 5:00 p.m. to 11:50 p.m.

Saturday, July 22 – 8:00 a.m. to 11:50 p.m. 

Sunday, July 23 – 7:40 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Where: UVM Gutterson Fieldhouse, Cairns Arena, Leddy Park Arena, The Ice Center in Waterbury, Stowe Arena

Who: 60 teams from Vermont, Canada, New England, the Mid-Atlantic and South

Notes: This tournament has raised more than $55,000 for Multiple Sclerosis treatment and research at the UVM Medical Center since 2010. Vermont has some of the highest prevalence of MS in the United States. Hockey fights MS is looking for event volunteers and both individual and sponsorship donations for this tournament.
