Gubernatorial Candidates Take Part in Forum on June 27

WHEN: Monday, June 27, 2016 from 7:30 – 9:00 p.m.

WHERE: Main Street Landing Film House, Lake and College Streets, AND streamed live on Vermont PBS at www.vermontpbs.org.

WHAT: Gubernatorial candidates Matt Dunne, Peter Galbraith, Bruce Lisman, Sue Minter, and Phil Scott will participate in a forum focused on “Community Health and Support Services.” Peter Mallary, Vice President of Government Relations and Community Outreach for The Vermont Association for Mental Health and Addiction Recovery, will moderate the event.

SPONSORS: The forum is presented by Vermont Care Partners, The Vermont Association for Mental Health and Addiction Recovery, the VNAs of Vermont, the Vermont Association of Area Agencies on Aging, the Community of Vermont Elders, and Vermont PBS.

Howard Center offers life-saving professional crisis and counseling services to children and adults; supportive services to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities who need help with education, employment, and life maintenance skills; counseling and medical services for those struggling with substance use disorders, and intensive interventions and supports for adults with serious and persistent mental health challenges. Last year we helped more than 16,000 people. Howard Center is a funded agency of the United Way of Northwest Vermont.
