Soak up the sun, dance under the stars, or relax in the shelter of a grand tent, while enjoying the best of Vermont music, scenery, wine and beer. The 2017 Conquer the Day Benefit Concert on August 12th at Snow Farm Vineyard will feature a special acoustic performance by Jamie Lee Thurston with opening acts by NavyTrain and Dionysia. All proceeds from this concert benefit young Vermont adults battling cancer. Bring your friends, plan to picnic, listen to music and watch the sunset over Lake Champlain. Wine and beer are available for purchase. No alcohol may be brought to the site. There will be food trucks on premise to satisfy your taste buds.

About Conquer The Day – the Stefan Pierson Foundation: This non-profit was started in memory of Stefan Pierson, who at age 22 lost his battle with bone cancer. Stefan was an avid outdoor enthusiast, captain of the SBHS Soccer and Alpine Ski teams his senior year, who would not let his cancer prevent him from living life to the fullest. His courage, inspiration, positivity to others, and enthusiasm were what drove the establishment of a non-profit organization which would provide support to other Vermont young adults, ages 18 to 25, who are battling cancer. The foundation provides support such as adaptive equipment to continue favorite activities, opportunities to learn a new skill or develop an existing hobby, or trips / wishes to ease the impact of their cancer treatments.
