Upcoming conference: Cultivating Value from Food Scraps
Can collecting food scraps for composting make your community more resilient? You bet! Every year, the Vermont Organics Recycling Summit (VORS) brings community members and municipalities together with experts to help determine the right mix of options for your neck of the woods.
Workshops, discussion forums, networking opportunities, and sources for tools and more info will stimulate and inspire you. There will also be information on how to comply with the rolling deadlines requiring food scrap collection from businesses -- and ultimately everyone in Vermont -- mandated by Act 148, Vermont's Universal Recycling & Composting Law.
