The Burlington Business Association (BBA) is holding their annual “Best of Burlington” Online Auction from Sept 19- October 6th. Now in it’s 8th year, the BBA auction is an online auction that features items, gift certificates and unique experiences donated by some of Burlington’s favorite local businesses and organizations. The auction is web-based (url below). New items will be added throughout the auction right up until October 6th, when the auction closes at 10 pm.
This year’s auction is presented by Parkmobile. The Parkmobile app was introduced in Burlington in the spring of 2015, and allows smartphone users to pay for metered parking on the go with an account that is linked to their license plate and credit card. Parkmobile is sponsoring three prizes to be announced on the auction homepage. Three winners will be chosen at random from a pool of Parkmobile app users who start a parking session in Burlington between the dates of the auction. Donations to this year’s auction include over 70 unique items, donated by local businesses.
Highlights include an overnight stay donated by the Hilton Burlington, a stand up page 2 paddleboard and paddle, donated courtesy of WND & WVS, a gift certificate for dinner for two at Leunig’s Bistro, and a $100 gift certificate to Liebling boutique, to name a few.
