The Lamoille Economic Development Corporation and Vermont Small Business Development Center are hosting a sales workshop from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 19 in the Community Room at Green Mountain Technology and Career Center in Hyde Park. The cost to attend is $49 and pre-registration is required.
Through discussions and group role playing, the workshop focuses on sales by measuring each step of the selling process, how to prospect and present more effectively and efficiently and overcoming the fear of closing the sale.
The workshop presenter is Phil Schuman, principal at the Schuman Group based in Vermont and specializing in sales strategy development and customized training and consulting services. Schuman has over 20 years of business to business sales experience including selling Toshiba copiers in London and Boston and training sales teams for DHL Express in Manhattan.
