Rural Healthcare Press Conference: Newport
Rep. Welch will join local healthcare leaders at a press conference to highlight his support for rural healthcare access and affordability. Welch will discuss two bipartisan initiatives: one to increase access for rural hospitals to affordable prescription drugs, and another to expand Medicare reimbursement for telehealth services. The event will include a brief telehealth demonstration, after which Welch will tour the hospital.
