The 2015 Clothes Exchange Event to Benefit Vermont Foodbank
The Clothes Exchange, a shopping fundraising event to support a social cause or non-profit in our community, is pleased to announce our June 12-13, 2015 event occurring at the Burlington Town Center. The beneficiary of this years event is Vermont Foodbank, a non-profit network that annually serves 153,000 Vermonters in need of food assistance, 33,900 of whom are children under the age of 18.
"The Clothes Exchange has given over a quarter of a million dollars to local non-profits and social causes in our community over the past 12 years.” says Adam Brooks, SEABA Executive Director and Clothes Exchange Director. "The Vermont Foodbank is an essential service in our community to provide nutritious food and programs to thousands of Vermonters." Mark your calendars for June 12-13, 2015!

The Clothes Exchange is a mission driven social enterprise dedicated to turning clothing into cash for community benefit. For every event, The Burlington Clothes Exchange selects a new nonprofit to partner with who receives a portion of the event proceeds. In total, The Clothes Exchange has raised more than a quarter of a million dollars for nonprofits in Chittenden County.
SEABA (South End Arts & Business Association) is a member based organization located at 404 Pine Street, which supports the arts and businesses of the South End of Burlington. Its signature event, the South End Art Hop, is entering its 23rd year in 2015 on September 11-13. SEABA’s mission is ‘Fusing Art & Industry’ through community, opportunity, and education. SEABA operates the Burlington Clothes Exchange event each year.
