Vermont Brewers Festival returns with new collabs, at-par Canadian pricing, July 18-19

Vermont Business Magazine The Vermont Brewers Festival will return for the 32nd year at Waterfront Park in Burlington on July 18-19. Tickets for this highly anticipated event will go on sale at 11 a.m. May 2. 

New additions this year include milestone celebrations and at-par ticket pricing aimed to welcome Canadian visitors. 

With three sessions spread across two days, and an expected attendance of more than 6,000 enthusiasts, this year’s festival promises the chance to sample an array of beers from 36 breweries per session. This will include Vermont icons and exciting newcomers.

Established in 1991, The Vermont Brewers Festival is a successful two-day craft beer event located in one of Vermont’s picturesque locations, the shores of Lake Champlain in Burlington, Vermont.

  • Session 1: July 18th, 5:30-9:30
  • Session 2: July 19th, 12:00-4:00
  • Session 3: July 19th, 5:30-9:30 

"This festival is about more than great beer — it’s about celebrating Vermont’s brewing spirit and community," Emma Arian, executive director of the Vermont Brewers Association, said. "We can’t wait to raise a glass with our brewers, neighbors and craft beer fans from near and far." 

What’s New for 2025

Statewide Collaboration Beer Project: For the 30th anniversary of the Vermont Brewers Association, breweries across Vermont will craft celebratory beers with custom VBA hop blends. Each brewery can select the style they want to brew, and are encouraged to choose a brewery or two to collaborate with, debuting their beers at the festival 

● Canadian Ticket Pricing at Par: To make it even easier for cross-border friends to join in, the Vermont Brewers Festival will accept Canadian transactions for at-par $60 CAD tickets. Valid Canadian ID will be required at admission 

● New Additions to the Brewery Lineup: Including Twisted Horn Brewery (Londonderry), The Tropic Brewing (Waterbury), Two Heroes Brewery & Public House (South Hero), Brewery At American Flatbread (Burlington), Hill Farmstead Brewery (Greensboro Bend), Liar’s Bench Beer Company (Portsmouth, New Hampshire), Maine Beer Company (Freeport, Maine), Jack’s Abbey Craft Lagers (Framingham, Massachusetts) and more.

Ticketholders can sample 3-, 6- and 9-ounce pours while enjoying music, playing games and purchasing food and gifts from local vendors.

For an additional $15, attendees can participate in a unique opportunity at the Fermentation Tent to learn more about the fermentation process, enjoy panel discussions moderated by Seven Days food and drink writer Jordan Barry and sample some of Vermont's finest fermented foods and beers. 

The Vermont Brewers Festival is the only event of its kind created for and hosted by the brewers themselves. Tickets are $60 in advance and $65 at the door, if available.
