The VTGOP has announced that former Presidential candidate, and current Governor of North Dakota, Doug Burgum will be their featured speaker at the luncheon during their Spring Convention on May 18th
“Gov. Burgum’s humble beginnings from a small rural town and his rise to successful tech entrepreneur and now public servant is a great story that I think can connect and resonate with Vermonters of all persuasions,” said VTGOP Chairman Paul Dame. “He has a very straightforward and pragmatic approach that I felt was very similar to other Republicans who have been successful in Vermont.”
The Vermont Republican Party is hosting its election-year Spring Convention at the DoubleTree Hotel in South Burlington on Saturday May 18th. Tickets are on sale for the event on the state party’s website at www.vtgop.org/convention24
The morning will feature a Presidential Convention that will see several Republicans vying to be elected as one of 14 Vermonters to represent the state at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, WI in July. The middle of the day will have opportunities for candidate training and the luncheon featuring Gov. Burgum. Finally, in the afternoon the party will debate and adopt its platform for the 2024 election campaign.
