The Stern Center for Language and Learning announces four new members to its board of directors

The Stern Center for Language and Learning, a nonprofit learning center with locations in Williston, Vermont and West Lebanon, New Hampshire elected the following new members and officers to its Board of Directors during its Annual Meeting on October 17, 2013. New members include:
Sarah Beal holds a BA from Colgate University and is currently working on a project to open a new retail store, Common Deer, in Shelburne. Prior to this project, Sarah worked as the Director of Communications, Marketing, and Tourism for the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce. She is very active in the outdoors skiing, sailing, biking, hiking and playing hockey.
Jon Pizzagalli is the Director of Special Operations at PC Construction in South Burlington. He holds a BS in Agricultural Economics from UVM and a Masters of Real Estate Development from MIT. In addition to sitting on the Stern Center’s board, Jon also serves as a board member for the Greater Burlington Industrial Corporation. He lives with his wife and three children in Shelburne, VT.
Brian Till is a first year medical student at the University of Vermont. He received his BA in Political Science at Haverford College and worked as a correspondent for The Atlantic Monthly. He recently published his first book, Conversations with Power: What Great Presidents and Prime Ministers Can Teach Us About Leadership. Brian lives in Burlington, VT.
Sara Trimmer works at the Norwich Bookstore. Previous to this position, she worked as the Store and Café Manager at Rosey Jekes/Rosey’s Café. Sara serves as the Third Vice-President for the Hanover Lion’s Club and volunteers as a registrar for the Prouty, an annual fundraiser for the Norris Cotton Cancer Center. Sara has a BA from the University of New Hampshire and lives in Hanover, NH.
