Margolis Healy, a professional services firm specializing in campus safety, security, and regulatory compliance for higher education and K-12, has announced the addition of Lance Houston as Manager for Regulatory Compliance and Katrina Crandall as Business Development Coordinator.
Most recently, Lance Houston served as chief consultant and lead investigator with University EEO, Inc., a Massachusetts-based consulting firm. In this role, he was responsible for assisting institutional clients on EEO/Title IX compliance and university-wide EEO training. Lance proactively mitigated risk-related to talent acquisition and established partnerships within institutions to identify areas of concern with university EEO policies, collective bargaining agreements, Title IX and ADA compliance. Lance holds a bachelor of arts degree from Harvard University, a juris doctor from Suffolk University Law School, and graduated with honors with a master of laws degree from John Marshall Law School.
Katrina Crandall was previously a business development manager for the Institute of Sustainable Communities in Montpelier, Vermont where she directed and managed teams of five to 20 people through the proposal design and delivery process for funding proposals from US and international government agencies. Her prior experience included a position as a senior development associate at the United Nations Foundation in Washington, DC. Katrina attended Bryn Mawr College and holds a bachelor of arts degree as well as a juris doctor from the University of New Mexico School of Law.
