Angelo Tedesco Sr. of Rutland, VT has recently been inducted into the Masonry Hall of Fame by the Mason Contractors Association of America at the 2019 MCAA Annual Convention at the World of Concrete in Las Vegas, NV. This is a highly competitive process to be honored with a selection as voted on by peers from around the country. Angelo Sr. is the very first HOF member chosen from the state of Vermont, the New England area and the Eastern US for that matter (with Maryland being the closest other inductee to our area). There are only 31 other HOF inductees thus far since 2012. Angelo Sr. is the founder of A. Tedesco Masonry in Rutland, VT.
On May 10, 2019, at the Vermont State House, Angelo Sr. received a Resolution from the State of Vermont, by the VT Senate and House of Representatives congratulating him on his achievements and Hall of Fame acceptance.
The Masonry Hall of Fame was created by the Mason Contractors Association of America to recognize and award individuals who have dedicated their lives to the masonry industry. The Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) is the national trade association representing mason contractors and has been around since the 1950. The association is based out of Algonquin, IL.
The MCAA is committed to preserving and promoting the masonry industry by providing continuing education, advocating fair codes and standards, fostering a safe work environment, recruiting future manpower, and marketing the benefits of masonry materials.
