The Board of Directors of Washington Electric Cooperative has selected Patricia H. Richards to become WEC’s new General Manager, effective July 1. She will take over management of the Co-op from Avram Patt, who is retiring at the end of June after 16 ½ years as manager and 8 years as an elected board member prior to that.

Vermont Chief Justice Paul L. Reiber has announced, on behalf of the Supreme Court of Vermont, the appointment of Patricia Gabel as Vermont’s next State Court Administrator. The appointment will take effect on July 27.

Lauren graduated from Champlain College with a B.S. in Marketing Management and is currently halfway through Champlain College’s MBA program with a concentration in IT Management. Lauren is looking forward to developing her marketing skills, putting her MBA to use and growing along with Logic Supply.
At commencement ceremonies last week, Norwich University officials named History Professor Reina Pennington a Charles A. Dana Professor of History, a prestigious award accompanied by an annual stipend of $10,000.
Pennington, who has taught at Norwich since 1999, was chosen by a selection committee of current Dana professors.
