Travis Van Alstyne has been promoted to the new position of director of web and interactive content at Vermont Public Television. He leads the statewide public television network’s digital media and social networking activities.

Judy Tarr, President and CEO of Central Vermont Medical Center is pleased to announce that Richard Andrew Burgoyne, M.D. has joined Waterbury Medical Associates, a CVMC medical group.

Shadow Productions has announced the opening of a new Minnesota location. Alex Ball, a longtime employee of Shadow Productions, Vermont, is now running Shadow Productions, Minnesota. “Shadow Productions has always pushed the barriers of Internet technology, so this was just one more step in that process,” said Ball.

BioTek Instruments, Inc. announced today that Amit Lodha will assume the role of Manufacturing Manager for worldwide operations. Additionally, the company has named Tracy Guy-Davis as Level 3's general manager for New England.

VT-PMG Public Relations announces the addition of two new associates.
Alicia De Martini has been named Assistant Account Executive at PMG. She is a 2009 graduate of Champlain College, where she majored in Mass Communications. Ms. De Martini was an intern with PMG previously. Ms. DeMartini resides in Burlington.

Vermont Adult Learning (VAL) is pleased to announce the hire of two new Directors:

NBT Bank Regional President Matt Durkee announced that Peter McCarthy has been hired as vice president and senior commercial banking relationship manager. In this position, McCarthy is responsible for developing and managing business relationships with the bank’s commercial customers in Vermont. He is based at the bank’s regional office at 150 Bank Street in Burlington.

Northfield Savings Bank announced the appointment of Stephen Page as Electronic Banking Specialist. Page will support NSB' s online banking, cash management and remote deposit customers as well as drive the growth of NSB's electronic banking services. Page was previously in NSB's marketing department.

Brigitte Ritchie, Vice President, State Director of Public Affairs & Community Relations for Citizens Bank in Vermont was named the Vermont Bankers Association’s 2009 recipient of the Outstanding Community Service Banker Award.
