Sarah Linford, founder and CEO of Mettowee Mint in Dorset, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Southwestern Vermont Chamber of Commerce.

Winford brings a wealth of entrepreneurial expertise and a commitment to regional economic growth to her new role. Mettowee Mint, known for its ecologically grown flowers and thoughtfully sourced products, reflects Linford's dedication to sustainability and community engagement.

Tim Rademacher, former researcher in forest ecophysiology and sustainable development at Centre ACER in Quebec, Canada, has been named scientific director of the Proctor Maple Research Center at the University of Vermont, beginning this fall. He succeeds Timothy Perkins, who retired last year.
