Anita Bourgeois, former director of municipal banking at Community Bank, has joined NBT Bank as director of government banking.

Bourgeois brings more than 30 years' experience in banking to her new role, including a strong history of growing the government banking business and collaborating with retail partners. A graduate of Trinity College in Burlington, she started her career in retail banking before expanding her experience with government banking and cash-management services.

Julie Bond, co-executive director of Good Samaritan Haven, was promoted in August to the role of sole executive director of the Barre-based organization. Bond's former co-executive director, Rick DeAngelis, has transitioned to an advisory role at the organization.
