Open Approach, a customer-focused managed service provider in Burlington, has promoted Andrew Krois to chief technology officer and chief security officer, and hired Jesse Metruk to succeed Krois in his former position of chief operating officer.

With extensive leadership and technology experience, Krois will now focus on driving the company’s technical direction and leading the development of a critical compliance and governance division.

Emma Scott, former associate director of the Food Law and Policy Clinic at Harvard University, has been appointed director of the Food and Agriculture Clinic at Vermont Law and Graduate School.

In her new role, Scott will work alongside CAFS faculty to oversee the development of the clinic’s seminar programs and experiential learning opportunities. She will also teach courses on farmworkers and the law.
