Hillary Read, a branding and marketing consultant, has been named Volunteer of the Year by the Lyric Theatre Co. This award is presented annually to a volunteer who has gone above and beyond the call of duty and exemplifies the best of volunteerism.

Read has been a member of the Lyric board of directors since 2020 and currently serves as board secretary. She also has worked behind the scenes on many of the Broadway-like performances the theater company has produced.

Michelle Almarode, vice president of finance for Global Lee and international markets at Kontoor Brands, has joined the board of advisers at Healthy Living. Almarode brings to the board 20 years of experience in strategy development; business and financial planning; and integration and transformational programs.
