Darlene Flagg, vice president and head of retirement services at National Life Group, has been honored as Woman of the Year by Women in Insurance and Financial Services, a national organization devoted to the success of women in the insurance and financial services fields.

Flagg was honored for her significant contributions to the Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston WIFS chapters as well as serving as president and vice president of the organization's national board.

John Mullett, former vice president and general manager at Vox Radio Group, has been named director of community relations at National Life Group. This position, which is focused on community and employee engagement, includes taking on the role of executive director of the National Life Group Foundation as well as leading Do Good Fest, National Life’s annual benefit music festival.
