The Vermont general office of New York Life Insurance Co., led by Managing Partner Tony Caligaris (pictured), was recently awarded the 2024 President's Trophy. The award is given annually to the office with the largest percentage increase in sales production over the previous year.

New York Life was founded in 1845 and is a leading provider of life insurance, annuities and other insurance and investment products. The company is triple-A rated and ranked No. 78 on the Fortune 500 list.

David Whitehill, former executive of the Reading (Pa.) Symphony Orchestra, has been named executive director of the Manchester Music Festival, effective Feb. 24. Whitehill will be responsible for the administrative leadership of the organization, which presents a five-week summer chamber music festival and operates the Young Artists Program.
