Passumpsic Bank has announced the promotion of Ellen Stanley from Newport commercial banker to senior commercial banker. Stanley is a 42-year employee of the bank.

In her new role, Stanley will work closely with the head of lending on all aspects of the commercial loan function, including overseeing the development, structuring, underwriting and management of commercial loan relationships that meet established requirements.

Mark Selig, former project executive at the construction and construction services company CAINBRO, has been hired as senior superintendent at DEW Construction. With decades of experience in construction supervisory and management roles, Selig brings a wealth of expertise across various sectors, including health care, multifamily housing, education and manufacturing.

Howard Center, the largest designated agency for mental health and developmental disability services in the state, has awarded Catherine Simonson Educational Advancement Scholarships to staff members Astin Altenburg, Marissa Ronick and Prem Bhattarai. The scholarship, named for the center's former chief client services officer, was created to help center employees reach educational goals so they can continue their careers in social services and related professions.
