Christine Alvarez, former vice president and chief operating officer at Lakes Region Mental Health Center, has been named vice president of outpatient and residential services at Brattleboro Retreat.
In her new role, Alvarez will help lead two of the retreat’s top priorities: expanding adolescent residential treatment services and launching virtual outpatient programming for youth, including partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services.

Peter Wright, president and CEO at Northwestern Medical Center, has been elected to the board of governors at the American College of Healthcare Executives. The position is a three-year term and helps ACHE manage its operations and member services.
Wright is a graduate of Northern Vermont University and holds a master's degree in administration from Saint Michael's College and a Master of Health Care Delivery Science from Dartmouth College.
