Joseph Strain, former attorney at Marsicovetere & Levine Law Group in White River Junction, and Beck Simpson, former assistant general counsel at the U.S. Department of Defense, have joined the New England law firm Primmer Piper Eggleston and Cramer.

Daniel Johnson, former founder and lead financial planner at Refocus Financial in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, has been named vice president and wealth consultant at The Wealth Conservatory, an investment advisory firm whose principal place of business is in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Johnson will be based at the firm's new offices in Winston-Salem.
