The Center on Rural Innovation is hosting its fourth annual Small Towns, Big Ideas Pitch Event, taking place on November 13th from 5-7 p.m. at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH. This exciting event brings together rural tech entrepreneurs and top investors from across the country, where five rural tech startups will compete in front of a panel of national investors.
Co-hosted by the Magnuson Center for Entrepreneurship at Dartmouth College, the pitch event is for anyone who believes that small towns can foster groundbreaking ideas and that rural tech startups are a powerful investment opportunity. One of the startups competing is ElecGrid, based in the Northeast Kingdom, which provides incident response and recovery software that allows utilities to more efficiently coordinate work in the field and expedite relief efforts. Small Towns, Big Ideas is free and open to the public.
