Vermont PBS names Vice President for Development

Vermont PBS, Vermont’s state-wide public television station, is pleased to announce that Stacie Sears Fagan will join its staff as Vice President for Development. A resident of Shelburne, Stacie has extensive experience developing philanthropic support for educational and environmental causes, including the Environmental Defense Fund, Naropa University, St Lawrence University, Middlebury College and the American Wind Wildlife Institute (AWWI). Most recently, Fagan established and led the revenue strategy for AWWI, working closely with donors and board members to implement the organization’s objectives.

“I am thrilled to be joining the Vermont PBS team," said Fagan. "As an avid consumer of PBS content, I value the richness of its programming and the ways in which Vermont PBS informs and connects Vermonters. Fostering a deep sense of community through collaborative civic engagement is central to the Vermont PBS mission. I look forward to helping the station expand the depth and scope of its programming and community activities through expanded funding and distribution partnerships. Vermont PBS is poised to enter an exciting phase of creative growth and I am both humbled and delighted to have the opportunity to support this wonderful organization.”

“We are so pleased to have a development professional of Stacie’s caliber join our team,” said Holly Groschner, CEO of Vermont PBS. “Not only does she have a deep understanding of the service and value of public media in Vermont, she is equally at home working with individual philanthropists and corporations to help them support enduring public causes that matter to them.” A graduate of St Lawrence University and the Snelling Leadership Institute, Fagan currently serves on the Board of the King Street Center in Burlington.

Vermont PBS is the only statewide provider of non-commercial video media committed to education, culture and civic engagement.
