Comcast announced today that Adwoa Dadzie has been named Vice President of Human Resources for the company’s Western New England Region, which is headquartered in Berlin, Connecticut, and includes over 300 communities in Connecticut, Vermont, Western Massachusetts, New York and Western New Hampshire. In this role, Dadzie and her team will support more than 1,700 employees and oversee all of the region’s Human Resources functions including staffing, recruiting, payroll, benefits and training through Comcast University – the company’s internal training and leadership development program.
“Adwoa brings with her a broad skillset,” said Mike Parker, Senior Vice President of Comcast’s Western New England Region, “Her proven track record of outstanding leadership development and employee engagement make her the ideal person to ensure we best meet the current and future needs of our employees.” Although she has spent the past year in Orange County, CA, Dadzie has long-standing ties to Connecticut, having worked in North Haven from 2013 to 2015 as Director of Human Resources for the East Division of Nestle Waters North America, overseeing activity at 30 manufacturing and distribution facilities in eight states from Maine to Florida. Adwoa’s other experience includes various roles in the human resources function between 2007 and 2010 for PepsiCo in Winston-Salem, NC; Somers, NY; and Las Vegas, NV.
Dadzie earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Trinity College in Hartford, CT and a master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from New York University. Dadzie resides in New Haven, Connecticut.
