February 6, 2006 [Woodstock, Vermont] -- At a recent company staff breakfast meeting John and Laurie Chester, owners of Wild Apple Graphics in Woodstock, Vermont, honored four employees for their ten years of service to the company.
Honored were Dee Anderson (Accounts Receivable), Linda Markwell (Assistant Controller), Dawn Mathis (warehouse and shipping support) and Sue Schlabach (Art Director). All were presented with an engraved Simon Pearce Apple to commemorate the event.

Project seeks input on design of Route 2A Improvements, Circ A/B, and Hybrid Alternatives

MONTPELIER Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) Secretary Dawn Terrill announced today that
the agency will be holding public design workshops on the eight alternatives short-listed for detailed study in
the Circ-Williston Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).

$200,000 Challenge Grant Advances Vermont Humanities Council's First Capital Campaign for New Home in Montpelier

Montpelier, VT ~ The Vermont Humanities Council, a statewide nonprofit
focused on lifelong learning and literacy, in December received a $200,000
Challenge Grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. The grant
represents a significant step toward the success of VHC's first capital
campaign, Humanities at the Center, which aims to raise $700,000 to cover
the purchase and renovation of new offices in Montpelier. VHC moved to the
more central offices in October after 30 years in Hyde Park and Morrisville
in rented space.

Business Interiors Completes Seventh Generation Headquarters

Business Interiors has completed the furniture installation for Seventh Generation's Burlington Vermont Headquarters. This project is expected to achieve LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold certification for Commercial Interiors. The new space features the latest in open office design planning in conjunction with a vast array of products from the Steelcase product portfolio. All furniture was carefully selected to coincide with the strictest of environmental standards as determined by the US Green Building Council and Greenguard Institute.

VBT Bicycling Vacations returns to its Vermont Roots

BRISTOL, VERMONT - Alan E. Lewis, Chairman and CEO of Grand Circle Corporation in Boston, announced that Gregg Marston has purchased Vermont Bicycle Tours Bicycling Vacation (VBT) from Grand Circle. Mr. Marston has served as VBT's President since 1999.
