Vermont Business Magazine Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice (CVHHH) has announced that the 2020 Fall Appeal, which was chaired by Ed and Trish Read of Fayston, brought in $80,000. This is the most successful appeal in recent years with close to 500 donors contributing. CVHHH would like to extend sincere thanks to Ed and Trish for supporting this campaign at such a critical time.
CVHHH will use funds raised to support programs and services, including telehealth, which has expanded in the past ten months and for which CVHHH does not receive full reimbursement for services provided. During the pandemic, CVHHH found new ways to embrace virtual and video visits to enhance patient care, supplement in-person visits, provide important check-ins with Central Vermonters, and to reduce opportunities for COVID-19 transmission in the community.
Thank you to every individual who contributed. The success of this campaign is proof of our community’s appreciation of CVHHH’s work and of their desire to see CVHHH grow and remain a vital part of Central Vermont.
