Bleu Sky Creative, a Burlington-based design firm, has redesigned the packaging for Cabot Creamery's light 8 oz. cheddars, now known as Cabot Reduced Fat Cheddar, found in the grocery dairy aisle. After extensive consumer research, the new design calls attention to nutritional benefits while maintaining a classic look, reflected through hand-drawn illustration and classic typography.
ESTEY ORGAN MUSEUM HIRES ARCHITECTURAL CONSULTANT
BRATTLEBORO The Estey Organ Museum has hired River Town Design of Hartford, VT to prepare a Heritage Tourism Master Plan for four buildings in the Estey Organ Complex on Birge Street. The project is funded by a Preserve America grant awarded to the Town of Brattleboro by the Federal Department of the Interiors National Park Service with matching funds from the Town. Brattleboro was awarded status as a Preserve America community in 2005. The Estey Organ Museum has an agreement with the Town to oversee the grant.

The American Institute of Architectures Vermont chapter honored Freeman French Freeman (FFF) with an Interior Architecture award for the Burlington International Airport expansion project. This award was one of eight given by the local AIA chapter and is the firms third consecutive award for its work at the airport.
The jury, a panel of architects from the Connecticut chapter of AIA, was impressed by the interesting use of modernist materials and also praised the bringing of art to architecture in a place where people spend a lot of time.
