One hour before taping what Burnt Impressions CEO and Founder Galen Dively thought was a segment called "Small Business Spotlight," he was surprised with news of the program change. Burnt Impressions was chosen, unknowingly to Dively, by FOX's 'America's Nightly Scoreboard' to relaunch their 'So You Think You Are an Entrepreneur' segment.
"I am happy you chose me to reintroduce the segment, but it would have been nice to know about this two days ago when asked to the studios," says Galen, relating his time at FOX Studios in NYC to his friends. "The intern, host and particularly the editor were very nice folks and it was a wonderful experience."
Despite a very limited budget and no experience in the small kitchen appliance industry, Burnt Impressions Incorporated, http://www.burntimpressions.com, last year launched their distinct line of toasters. Since then they have managed to create a bit of buzz. "Everyone out there enjoys toast. Burnt Impressions offers a unique twist, adding fun and contemplation to one's breakfast toast and BLTs. Unlike ordinary toasters ours toast Jesus on your bread," Galen explains when asked about their success.
May 25th marks the official launch of the "Virgin Mary Toasters," which create a toasted image of the Virgin Mary on your bread.
Coming June 2011 their barn in Vermont will be busy assembling all sorts of what they are calling the "Custom Made Toasters." This concept introduces personalized toasters to consumers.
