Think colorectal cancer only affects older adults?  Think again!  The rate of CRC diagnosis is rising in younger age groups.

Joseph Anderson, MD, MHCDS, FACG will be sharing his expertise on this subject Thursday, September 24th at noon for the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) Virtual Grand Rounds.  Details are below.  

Dr. Anderson is a practicing gastroenterologist at the White River Junction VA Medical Center, a member of the US Multi Society Task Force on Colorectal Cancer (USMSTF).  USMSTF is a group of 9 gastroenterologists, selected to author publications and provide recommendations for prevention, screening, treatment, and follow-up care for CRC patients. Dr. Anderson has published extensively on CRC screening on topics including colonoscope design, colorectal cancer risk factors and biology of polyps.
