Home Hospitality Opportunities!
The Vermont Council on World Affairs is searching for Vermonters interested in hosting a virtual home hospitality session for delegates participating in our upcoming international visitor programs.
A virtual home hospitality session is very informal and structured to serve as a platform for cultural exchange and to introduce the participants to life in Vermont. There is no professional component associated with home hospitality meaning there's no need to be an expert in the focus of the group's program. We encourage you to share a coffee, drink, or favorite dish over ZOOM with the international participants!
Thursday, October 14th
9:30 - 11:00am EDT
These 17 delegates from Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan are participating in a Managing Digital Assets project. We are searching for up to three hosts to virtually connect with these international participants.
Tuesday, October 19th
2:00 - 3:30pm EDT
These five delegates from Mexico are participating in a Combating Transnational Crime project. We are searching for one host to virtually connect with these international participants.
