November 15th Regular Meeting of the Vermont Nuclear Decommissioning Citizens Advisory Panel Federal Nuclear Waste Policy Committee

Vermont Business Magazine The Federal Nuclear Waste Policy Committee of the Vermont Nuclear Decommissioning Citizens Advisory Panel (VT NDCAP) will hold its next regular meeting on Monday, November 15, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.  This meeting will be conducted primarily as a webcast and teleconference.  However, in accordance with Vermont Open Meeting Law, the following physical location will be available for those wishing to attend this meeting in-person:

Limited parking is available behind the building.  Additional parking is available at the Brattleboro Transportation Center Parking Garage located one block east from the meeting site.  Facemasks and social distancing are encouraged for all meeting attendees.

At this meeting, Committee members will propose and discuss potential recommendations for changes to Federal nuclear waste and decommissioning policies.  Any recommendations agreed upon by the Committee may be forwarded to the full VT NDCAP for consideration as Advisory Opinions.  Material summarized in the Committee’s draft report, available at: will be considered in these discussions. 

The Committee meeting will run for no more than one hour.  Opportunities for members of the public to speak during this meeting will be limited due to this time constraint.  Members of the public are encouraged to provide written questions and comments to the Committee via VT NDCAP’s email address at  All emails sent to the Committee become public record and may be published on the VT NDCAP website ( or the Committee’s webpage.
