Middle age can be one of the most rewarding and exciting times of a woman’s life, but many women at this stage experience challenges in their intimate relationships. Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC) OB/GYN Dr. Themarge Small will share her insights and advice during a special presentation, Intimacy in the Middle Years and Beyond: A gynecologist-led talk about sex for women who have hit their stride.
The event will be held 6:30 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13 at Manchester Community Library, 138 Cemetery Ave., Manchester Center, VT. The program is free and open to the public; however, seating is limited. Register at 802-447-5019 or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org by February 10.
Whether we are 35, 55, 75 or older, healthy sexuality can be part of what makes our lives and partnerships rewarding. Dr. Small will lead this session for women in perimenopause and beyond. She’ll explain the physiological changes that start in the middle years and continue through maturity, how they affect your intimate relationships, and what you can do to improve your sexual health now and in the years ahead.
