The Vermont Procurement Technical Assistance Center (VT PTAC) invites Vermont businesses to join them and the National Guard Association of Vermont (NGA-VT) for a free, two-hour introductory workshop on Thursday, February 1, 2018, in Milton to help Vermont businesses understand the process used by the Vermont National Guard to procure products and services.
They will outline the various opportunities affiliated with working with the Vermont National Guard and how Vermont businesses can become qualified vendors. About the Vermont Procurement Technical Assistance Center: VT PTAC provides Vermont small businesses with an understanding of the requirements of government contracting and the know-how to obtain and successfully perform federal, state, and local contracts through free counseling services, training and networking opportunities. The center’s mission is to increase the percentage of federal contracts awarded to Vermont businesses with emphasis on contracts awarded to small businesses. VT PTAC is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Defense Logistics Agency. It is also funded by the VT Department of Economic Development (DED), and operates as a program within the DED.
