Harvard Dream Researcher David Kahn Speaks Feb. 6 at JSC
David Kahn, who teaches in Harvard Medical School’s psychiatry department, will talk Feb. 6 on sleep and dream science at Johnson State College.
The talk, free for the public, will be at 1 p.m. in the Stearns Student Center Performance Space.
Kahn, also a psychiatry research associate at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, has researched dreaming extensively. At JSC, he will discuss research methods and findings related to the psychology and physiology of sleep and dreams. His talk will cover the function of sleep, consequences of sleep deprivation and neurobiology of a dreaming brain.
